The Open-Air Museum of Goats’ Houses is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of different types of goats’ houses. The park is also used to present other ethnological contents, from mowing to harvesting hay and cereals, and it also hosts cultural events, workshops, etc. The 2.5 ha park has 19 goats’ huts, the oldest of which, the Lukat’s greenhouse, dates from 1795 and is the only one in the museum that is covered with straw. Simončič’s greenhouse, the only one in Slovenia with the status of a cultural monument of national importance, is also located near the park.
